Many RuneScape old and new players were delighted by the fact that there’s a new skill going to be introduced in 2020. It goes by the name Archeology, which opened a new path for players to walk on. Many beginners have burning questions running through their minds about Archeology, so today we’ll be clearing those out of them.

What is the skill about?

Archeology was designed to work as part of the gathering skills. For instance, Fishing, Woodcutting, Fletching, Smithing, etc. You can use a Mattock to dig around at excavations to unveil various materials. The action also grants XP for Archeology.

That’s not it! The moment you unveil an artefact, you’ll notice that it’s damaged. That’s when you have to restore them to get XP in Archeology. Next, you need to head to the Dig Site in Varrock and decide what to do with the found items.

You can either decide to hand them over to a collector, donate them to the museum, or hold onto them in your bank. There are new areas for you to explore too like the depts of the Wilderness, Al-Kharid city, Morytania Swamp, etc.

Where to train it?

Since the action to train the skill revolves around excavating locations, you can level up at any of the Dig Sites across RuneScape. It’s more or less like Mining, which takes you to the depths of areas. However, you won’t be competing for resources in Archeology. Some of the areas include the Varrock Dig Site, Kharid-ET, Storm Guard Citadel, Warforge, Orthen, Infernal Source, etc.

What are the rewards?

The first and foremost question on every player’s mind while training a skill is, “What benefits do I get as I level up?”. Well, first is Chronote that allows players to purchase skilling outfits (regular & elite) and other items. You can also unlock boosts through Deep Sea Fishing.

Then there’s Ancient Summoning which is unlocked after completing the Infernal Source. You will have to use Summoning to utilize demons to your own advantage. You’ll also come across several materials and charms within the Infernal Source. These can be used for binding contracts, meaning you can summon powerful demons with a range of effects like Ripper Demon’s Jump.

Besides that, you can also discover blueprints and ancient technologies to bring about new devices that help add perks to your weapons and armory. Each of these Gizmos includes nine slots, meaning you can add and try different combinations to make your invention powerful!

Lastly, there are Relics that can be obtained while training in Archeology. They offer a permanent passive buff, and you can only add three relics at the same time. You’ll also encounter things like Ancient Potion Making, Skilling Outfits, and Artefact Weapons along your journey.

Conclusion

New players are always excited to explore what Archeology has to offer, and that’s why they need to have a better idea of what they’re getting into. We hope your guide helped you understand the skill. Best of luck with maxing out! If You Need To Buy RS Gold, Please Go To Rsorder.com!
